Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy describes what you may not do with PocketStage. It is part of our Terms of Service. By using the Service, you agree to follow it.

Prohibited uses

• Illegal content and activity

  Do not use the Service to share content or carry out activity that is illegal where you or your audience are located.

• Harassment and hate

  Do not use the Service to harass, threaten, bully, or promote hatred or violence against people or groups.

• Infringing intellectual property

  Do not broadcast or share content that infringes the copyrights, trademarks, or other rights of others.

• Broadcasting audio you have no right to

  Only broadcast audio you own or are authorized to share. Do not relay music, performances, or speech that you do not have permission to transmit.

• Privacy violations and unlawful recording

  Do not use the Service to capture or relay people without consent where consent is required, or otherwise violate others' privacy.

• Spam and invite abuse

  Do not send spam, abuse session invites or join codes, or use the Service to deliver unwanted or deceptive messages.

• Attacking the Service

  Do not attempt to break, probe, or circumvent our security, bypass rate limits or usage caps, scrape the Service, or interfere with other users.

• Processing content you have no rights to

  Do not use the Service, including its captioning and translation features, to process audio or content you have no right to use.

Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy, with or without notice, and may remove access to sessions that are being used in violation of it. Repeated or serious violations may result in a permanent ban from the Service.

Reporting abuse

If you see a session or account being used in a way that breaks this policy, report it to us at hello@pocketstage.io. Please include the session or join code and a short description so we can investigate.
